Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Karima Shami رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The hospitality of the first day for a guest is a right upon every (host) Muslim. The right of a guest who comes to someone's house is a debt upon him. It is up to the guest whether he demands his right or not."
