Disciplining Family Members for Upbringing
Hadith 2804
- " علقو السوط حيث يراه أهل البيت ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hang the whip where the members of the household can see it."
Hadith 2805
- " علقوا السوط حيث يراه أهل البيت فإنه لهم أدب ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hang a whip in a place where the members of the household can see it, for this is a means for them to be well-mannered."
