Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a Bedouin came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and spoke in a very clear manner. (In the narration of Musnad Ahmad, it is mentioned that he began to praise the Prophet, peace be upon him.) The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Some eloquent speech has the effect of magic, and some poetry is filled with wisdom and insight."
