Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Hani bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of a deed that will admit me to Paradise." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Spreading peace (greeting) generally and speaking good words are such deeds that make forgiveness obligatory."
