Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying during a battle: "Walk mostly with shoes, because as long as a person is wearing shoes, he is a kind of rider."
