Hadith 2682
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would sit in a gathering or perform prayer, he would recite a few words (a supplication consisting of these words). One day I inquired about these words. In response, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a person speaks good and virtuous words in that gathering, then these words will be a seal for him until the Day of Resurrection, but if he speaks otherwise (bad words), then these will become an expiation for him. You are pure, O Allah! With Your praise, there is no deity worthy of worship except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance."
