Hadith 2667
- " إذا انتهى أحدكم إلى المجلس فإن وسع له فليجلس وإلا فلينظر أوسع مكان يراه فليجلس فيه ".
Mus'ab bin Shaybah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person arrives at a gathering and space is made for him, he should sit down; otherwise, he should look for the place that is more spacious and sit there."
Hadith 2668
- (إذا قامَ أحدُكم من مجلِسه ثمّ رجعَ إليهِ؛ فهو أحقُّ به) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you gets up from a gathering and then returns, he is more entitled to that place."
Hadith 2669
- " إذا كان ثلاثة جميعا فلا يتناج اثنان دون الثالث ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When three people are together, two of them should not whisper to each other excluding the third."
Hadith 2670
- " إذا تناجى اثنان فلا تجلس إليهما حتى تستأذنهما ".
Saeed Maqbari says: A man was talking to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and I also went and sat there. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) struck his hand on my chest and said: "Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'When two people are having a private conversation, do not sit with them without their permission.'"
Hadith 2671
- " نهى أن يجلس الرجل بين الرجلين إلا بإذنهما ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade sitting between two people without their permission.
Hadith 2672
- " كنا إذا انتهينا إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جلس أحدنا حيث ينتهي ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when we would come to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), we would sit wherever the gathering ended.
Hadith 2673
- " لا يقوم الرجل للرجل من مجلسه، ولكن افسحوا يفسح الله لكم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No man should stand up from his seat for another, rather make space in the gathering for each other, Allah the Exalted will grant you spaciousness."
Hadith 2674
- (لا يجلس الرجلُ بين الرجل وابنِه في المجلس) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “No man should sit in the lap of another man in the presence of his own son.”
Hadith 2675
- " لا يقيمن أحدكم أخاه يوم الجمعة ثم ليخالف إلى مقعده فيقعد فيه ولكن يقول: افسحوا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No man should make his brother stand up on Friday and then sit in his place, rather he should say: Make room in the gathering."
