Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) greeted us with salam, we would reply: «وعليك السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته ومغفرته» And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah, His blessings, and His forgiveness.
