Hadith 2616
- (إذا اصطحبَ رجلانِ مُسلمانِ، فحالَ بينهما شجَرٌ أو حجرُ أو مَدَرٌ؛ فليسلّم أحدُهما على الآخرِ، ويتبادلانِ السّلامَ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When two Muslim men are walking together and (while walking) a tree or a stone or a building (or a mound) comes between them, then (as soon as they meet again) they should greet each other with salam."

Hadith 2617
- " إذا لقي أحدكم أخاه فليسلم عليه، فإن حالت بينهما شجرة أو جدار أو حجر ثم لقيه فليسلم عليه أيضا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you meets his brother, he should greet him with salam. If a tree, wall, or stone comes between them and then they meet again, he should greet him with salam once more."

Hadith 2618
- " اعبدوا الرحمن وأطعموا الطعام وأفشوا السلام تدخلوا الجنة بسلام ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Worship the Most Merciful, feed (others), and spread the greeting of peace widely; you will enter Paradise in peace."

Hadith 2619
- " أعجز الناس من عجز عن الدعاء، وأبخل الناس من بخل بالسلام ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most helpless person is the one who is unable to make supplication, and the most miserly person is the one who is miserly in greeting (with salam)."

- " أفشوا السلام تسلموا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Spread salam (greetings of peace) widely, you will live in peace.”

- " أفشوا السلام وأطعموا الطعام وكونوا إخوانا كما أمركم الله ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Spread peace widely, feed others, and become brothers as Allah has commanded you."

Hadith 2622
- " يا أيها الناس! أفشوا السلام وأطعموا الطعام وصلوا الأرحام وصلوا بالليل والناس نيام تدخلو الجنة بسلام ".
Zararah bin Awfi narrates that Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, people rushed towards him and it began to be said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has come, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has come, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has come." I also came to see him. When I looked closely at his face, I realized that this is not the face of a liar. The first hadith that I heard from him was this: "O people! Spread peace (salam) among yourselves, feed the people, maintain the ties of kinship, and pray at night when people are asleep; you will enter Paradise in peace."

Hadith 2623
- " إن السلام اسم من أسماء الله تعالى وضعه في الأرض، فأفشوا السلام بينكم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the beautiful names of Allah, there is a name «سلام» which Allah has sent down to the earth, so spread the greeting of peace among yourselves."

Hadith 2624
- " إن السلام اسم من أسماء الله وضعه الله في الأرض، فأفشوه فيكم، فإن الرجل إذا سلم على قوم فردوا عليه كان له عليهم فضل درجة لأنه ذكرهم، فإن لم يردوا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Salam is one of the names of Allah, which He has sent down to the earth, so spread it among yourselves. When a person greets people with Salam and they reply to him, then the one who initiated the Salam attains superiority over them, because he reminded them. And if they do not reply, then those (servants of Allah) who are better and purer than them respond to him."

Hadith 2625
- " إن من موجبات المغفرة بذل السلام وحسن الكلام ".
Sayyiduna Hani bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of a deed that will admit me to Paradise." « » He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Spreading peace widely and speaking good words are such deeds that make forgiveness obligatory."

Hadith 2626
- " إن المؤمن إذا لقي المؤمن فسلم عليه وأخذ بيده فصافحه تناثرت خطاياهما كما
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a believer meets another believer, greets him with salam, and shakes hands with him, their sins fall away like the leaves of a tree."

Hadith 2627
- " السلام اسم من أسماء الله وضعه في الأرض، فأفشوه بينكم، فإن الرجل المسلم إذا مر بقوم فسلم عليهم فردوا عليه كان له عليهم (فضل درجة) ، فإن لم يردوا رد عليه من هو خير منهم وأطيب ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «سلام» is the name of Allah, which He has sent down to the earth, so spread it among yourselves. When a Muslim man passes by a group and greets them with salam, and they reply to his salam, then the one who greeted has superiority over them. And if they do not reply, then such (beings) reply to him who are better and purer than them.

Hadith 2628
- " السلام قبل السؤال، فمن بدأكم بالسؤال قبل السلام فلا تجيبوه ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Greeting (salam) comes before asking a question. Whoever starts asking a question before greeting, do not fulfill his request."

Hadith 2629
- " كان يمر بالغلمان فيسلم عليهم ويدعو لهم بالبركة ".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would pass by children, greet them with salam, and pray for blessings for them.
