Etiquette of lying down
Hadith 2614
- " من أقال أخاه بيعا أقال الله عثرته يوم القيامة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he states that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man is lying on his back, he should not place one leg over the other."
Hadith 2615
- (إنّ هذا بكى؛ لما فَقَدَ من الذِّكر) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man from placing one of his legs over the other. In another narration, it is mentioned: while he is lying on his back.
