Hadith 2588
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! May Allah sacrifice me for you, please eat while reclining, for it is easier for you." (Upon hearing this) the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lowered his head so much that it was close to his forehead touching the ground and said: "I will eat as a servant eats and sit as a servant sits."
Hadith 2589
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that neither was Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) seen eating while reclining, nor was it seen that two men were walking behind him (and he was ahead of them).
Hadith 2590
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not eat while reclining, do not eat bread made from sifted flour, do not designate a specific place in the mosque for yourself such that you only pray there, and do not step over people's necks on Friday, otherwise Allah Almighty will make you a bridge for the people on the Day of Resurrection."
