Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I command you with three things and forbid you from three things: I command you to worship Allah and not associate anything with Him, and all of you hold fast to the religion of Allah and do not become divided into sects, and obey the one whom Allah appoints as your ruler. And I forbid you from idle talk, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth."
