Hadith 2560
- " ما من مسلم يفعل خصلة من هؤلاء إلا أخذت بيده حتى تدخله الجنة ".
Malik bin Murthid narrates from his father, who says: Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, “O Messenger of Allah! What thing saves a servant from the Fire?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Having faith in Allah.” I said, “O Prophet of Allah! Is action also necessary along with faith?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “He should spend from what Allah has provided him.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah! If he is poor and does not have anything to give (in the way of Allah)?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Then he should enjoin good and forbid evil.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah! If he is unable to do that and does not have the strength to enjoin good and forbid evil?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “He should teach a skill to someone unskilled (and ignorant).” I said, “If he himself is unskilled and does not have the ability to do anything?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Then he should help someone who is overpowered (and oppressed).” I said, “If he himself is weak and does not have the strength to help the oppressed?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You do not want to leave any good for your brother. (Such a weak person should) not cause harm to people.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah! When a person does this, will he enter Paradise?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whichever Muslim acts upon any of these qualities, that quality will hold his hand until it enters him into Paradise.”
