Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Yunus bin Qasim Yamami that Ikrimah bin Khalid bin Sa'id bin 'As Makhzumi told him that he met Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Khattab and said: O Abu Abdur-Rahman! We are Banu Mughira, there is pride (and arrogance) among us, so have you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this? Sayyiduna Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to him: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Whoever acts arrogantly and walks with pride will meet Allah in a state that He will be extremely angry with him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks arrogantly and with pride, will meet Allah in a state that He will be extremely angry with him."
