Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw phlegm in the direction of the qiblah in the mosque. He (peace be upon him) became very angry, so much so that his face turned red. Then an Ansari woman came, she scraped it off and applied "khaluq" (a type of perfume) to its place. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "How good this deed is!"
