Hadith 2532
- " كان يتخلف في المسير، فيزجي الضعيف ويردف ويدعو لهم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would walk at the back, help the weak to walk, seat them behind him, and would supplicate for the companions.
Hadith 2533
- " كان مما يقول للخادم: ألك حاجة؟ قال: حتى كان ذات يوم فقال: يا رسول الله ! حاجتي. قال: وما حاجتك؟ قال: حاجتي أن تشفع لي يوم القيامة. قال: ومن دلك على هذا؟ قال: ربي. قال: أما لا، فأعني بكثرة السجود ".
It is narrated from the servant (male or female) of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who says: Among the things the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say to his servant was: (He would ask:) "Do you have any need?" Eventually, one day the servant said: O Messenger of Allah! I have a need. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is your need?" He said: My need is that you intercede for me on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who guided you to this (request)?" He said: My Lord did. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why not! Then help me by making many prostrations."
