Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was merciful. Whoever came to him, he (peace be upon him) would make a promise to him, and if he (peace be upon him) had something, he would fulfill it immediately. (Once) a Bedouin came to him (peace be upon him), grabbed his garment, and said: “A small need of mine remains, and I fear that I might forget it.” So he (peace be upon him) went with him until his need was fulfilled, then he returned and performed the prayer.
