Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three (faults) in a hypocrite: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when something is entrusted to him, he betrays the trust."
