Hadith 2510
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not ask about (the punishment of) three types of people: (1) A person who separated himself from the community and disobeyed the Imam and died in that state; (2) A slave, male or female, who ran away (from their master) and died in that state; and (3) A woman whose husband provided for her worldly needs and then went away, and she adorned herself and went out (in his absence). Do not ask about them. Similarly, there are three people (about whose punishment also) do not inquire: (1) A person who tried to snatch Allah’s cloak, and Allah’s cloak is majesty and His lower garment is honor (and power); (2) A person who doubted Allah’s command; and (3) A person who despaired of Allah’s mercy."
