Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed something. I said: By Allah! O Messenger of Allah! Other people were more deserving of it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(In reality) these people gave me (two options): either they would ask me rudely, or they would call me stingy, and I am not stingy."
