The Prophet's love for the Ansar
Hadith 2471
- (اللهُ يَعْلَمُ أنَّ قلبي يُحبُّكُنَّ. قالهَ لِجَوَارٍ مِنْ بني النَّجارِ) . أخرجه الطبراني في "المعجم الصغير" (ص 15- هندية، 25- الروض النضير) ، والبيهقي في "دلائل النبوة" (2/508) من طريقين عن أبي خيثمة
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the tribe of Banu Najjar, and the girls were beating the duff and singing: "We are the girls of Banu Najjar: 'Wow! Wow! Muhammad (peace be upon him) is such a good neighbor.'" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows that my heart loves you."
