Hadith 2430
- " إذا أراد الله عز وجل بأهل بيت خيرا أدخل عليهم الرفق ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty intends good and prosperity for a household, He grants them gentleness."
Hadith 2431
- " اسمح يسمح لك ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Show gentleness so that gentleness will be shown to you."
Hadith 2432
- " ألا أخبركم بمن يحرم على النار أو بمن تحرم عليه النار؟ على كل قريب هين سهل ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you about a person upon whom the Fire is forbidden, or the Fire which is forbidden upon him? He is the one who is close to people, gentle, and easy-going."
Hadith 2433
- " إنه من أعطي حظه من الرفق، فقد أعطي حظه من خير الدنيا والآخرة وصلة الرحم وحسن الخلق وحسن الجوار يعمران الديار ويزيدان في الأعمار ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Whoever is granted gentleness, has been given a share of goodness and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. And maintaining ties of kinship, good character, and treating neighbors well (such acts of goodness) populate homes (and tribes) and increase lifespans."
Hadith 2434
- " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبدو إلى هذه التلاع وإنه أراد البداوة مرة، فأرسل إلى ناقة محرمة من إبل الصدقة فقال لي: يا عائشة ارفقي، فإن الرفق لم يكن في شيء قط إلا زانه ولا نزع من شيء قط إلا شانه ".
Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Shurayh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father, he says: I asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about desert life. She said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to these sand dunes. Once, when he intended to live in the desert, he sent to me a she-camel from the camels of charity, upon which no one had yet ridden, and said: "Aisha! Be gentle, for whenever gentleness is found in something, it adorns it, and whenever gentleness is taken away from something, it makes it defective."
Hadith 2435
- " ما أعطي أهل بيت الرفق إلا نفعهم ولا منعوه إلا ضرهم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubaydullah bin Ma'mar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Any household that is granted gentleness, it will benefit them, and any that is not granted (gentleness), then (harshness) will harm them."
Hadith 2436
- " يا عائشة ارفقي، فإن الله إذا أراد بأهل بيت خيرا دلهم على باب الرفق ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her: "Aisha! Be gentle, for when Allah intends good for the people of a household, He guides them to the door of gentleness."
