Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person comes to his brother and meets him for the sake of Allah Almighty, a caller from the heavens calls out: 'Be happy, and Paradise becomes pure for you.' Otherwise, Allah Almighty says in His sovereignty over the Throne: 'My servant has met (his brother) for My sake; hosting him is incumbent upon Me, and I do not like to host him with anything less than Paradise.'"
