Advice to guard the tongue and its consequences
Hadith 2420
- " احفظ لسانك. ثكلتك أمك معاذ! وهل يكب الناس على وجوههم إلا ألسنتهم ".
It is narrated mursal from Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Mu'adh! May your mother lose you, guard your tongue, for people will be thrown into Hell only because of their tongues."
Hadith 2420M
- " إذا أتى أحدكم خادمه بطعام قد ولى حره ومشقته ومؤنته فليجلسه معه: فإن أبى فليناوله أكلة في يده ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The servant is your brother, so when he prepares food for you, have him sit with you (so that he may also eat); if he refuses, then give him food, and do not strike them on their faces."
