Hadith 2416
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who were lifting stones. He (peace be upon him) asked, "What are these people doing?" The people said, "They are lifting stones." Their intention was to describe the strength (and power) of the people. The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Shall I not tell you about a person who is even stronger than this? He is the one who controls himself at the time of anger."

And in another narration, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by people who were wrestling. He (peace be upon him) asked, "What is this?" The people said, "This is such-and-such wrestler, who defeats everyone in wrestling." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Shall I not tell you about a person who is even stronger than him? He is the man against whom someone has wronged, but he swallows his anger, and in this way, he overcomes the oppressor, his own devil, and the devil of his opponent." That is, he has defeated all three.

Hadith 2417
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whom do you consider among yourselves as '«رقوب»', that is, childless?" The companions said: The one who has no children. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Such a person is not called «رقوب», rather, the one who has not sent any of his children ahead (i.e., none of his children have passed away) is called so." Then he said: "Whom do you consider a strong wrestler?" The companions said: The one whom no one can defeat. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Such a person is not a wrestler, rather, the wrestler is the one who controls himself at the time of anger."
