Hadith 2357
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) found Ka'b missing, so he inquired about him (i.e., where is he). The companions said: He is ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out on foot until he reached him. When he entered upon him, he said: "O Ka'b! Rejoice." (Upon hearing this) his mother said: O Ka'b! Congratulations to you for Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who is this woman who is swearing by Allah?" Ka'b said: O Messenger of Allah! This is my mother. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Umm Ka'b! Perhaps Ka'b has uttered some useless words or withheld something (from spending) which would not have made him rich."
