Hadith 2338
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the people before you, there was a man who passed by a skull. He looked at it and began to speak to himself. Then he said: O my Lord! You are the Most Great and I am very weak; You are repeatedly forgiving and I am repeatedly sinning. Then he fell down in prostration before Allah. (A hidden voice came and) it was said to him: Raise your head; you are repeatedly sinning and I am repeatedly forgiving. So he raised his head and (Allah Almighty) forgave him."
