Hadith 2330
Sayyiduna Asad bin Kurz (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Asad bin Kurz! You will not enter Paradise because of your deeds, but rather by the mercy of Allah, the Exalted." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! And will you also not enter (Paradise) because of your deeds?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Yes,) I also will not, unless Allah, the Exalted, covers me with His mercy (then I will enter Paradise)."
Hadith 2331
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you will enter Paradise by virtue of his deeds, nor will he be saved by them." The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Not even you? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, not even me." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand towards his head and said, "Yes, unless Allah covers me with His grace and mercy (then it will be accomplished)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned this two or three times. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep to the right course, be moderate, give glad tidings, and worship in the morning, in the evening, and for a part of the night, and be moderate, adopt balance, you will reach your destination. And know that the most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done consistently, even if it is little." This hadith is narrated from multiple Companions, among them are Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, Sayyidah Aisha, Sayyiduna Jabir, Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri, and Sayyiduna Usamah bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with them).
