Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever fears (the enemy's attack) and sets out in the early part of the night, and (the reality is that) whoever sets out in the early part of the night reaches his destination. Listen carefully, the merchandise of Allah is precious. Beware! The merchandise of Allah is Paradise."

Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever fears (the enemy's attack) and sets out in the early part of the night (to save himself), and (the reality is that) whoever sets out in the beginning of the night reaches his destination. Listen carefully! The merchandise of Allah is precious. Beware! The merchandise of Allah is Paradise. (Listen!) The trembling one has come, and after it, the one to follow has also come. Death has arrived, taking everything with it."
