A person's reputation begins in the heavens
Hadith 2272
- " ما من عبد إلا وله صيت في السماء، فإذا كان صيته في السماء حسنا وضع في الأرض حسنا، وإذا كان صيته في السماء سيئا وضع في الأرض سيئا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person has a specific reputation in the sky; if that reputation is good, then it is good on the earth as well, and if the reputation in the sky is bad, then it is bad on the earth as well."
