Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the servants did not commit sins, Allah would create servants who would commit sins, then seek forgiveness from Him, and He would forgive them, and He is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you did not have sins for Allah to forgive, He would bring a people who would have sins, and He would forgive their sins."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you do not commit sins, Allah will bring forth people who will commit mistakes, and He will forgive them."

When the time of death approached for Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: I have been concealing from you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (due to some expediency), (now I will narrate it). I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If you do not commit sins, Allah will create a creation that will commit sins, and Allah will forgive them."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you do not commit sins, Allah will bring forth a people who will commit sins and He will forgive them."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul! If you did not commit sins, Allah would destroy you and bring forth a people who would commit sins, then seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would forgive them."
