Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will surely follow the ways of the previous nations, span by span, cubit by cubit, and arm's length by arm's length (i.e., you will follow them exactly in their footsteps), to the extent that if one of them were to enter a lizard's hole, you would also do so, and if one of them were to commit open indecency with his mother, you would also do so."
