Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty bestows certain blessings upon some people especially for the benefit of His servants. If they continue to spend (in charity), those blessings remain with them, but if they withhold (from giving charity and alms), He takes those blessings away from them and gives them to others."
