Hadith 2197
- " إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرا عسله، فقيل: وما عسله؟ قال: يفتح له عملا صالحا بين يدي موته حتى يرضى عنه من حوله ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Humaq Khuzai (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty intends good for His servant, He grants him a good reputation among the people." Someone asked: How does He grant a good reputation? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In such a way that He makes good deeds easy for him before his death, until those around him become pleased with him (and thus he becomes renowned for his good name)."
