Hadith 2186
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O my companions, do you know who is the bankrupt one?" The companions said: Among us, the bankrupt is the one who has neither dirham nor any other goods. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(No, rather) the bankrupt from my Ummah is the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakat, but along with that, he will come having abused someone, slandered someone, consumed someone’s wealth, shed someone’s blood, and beaten someone. So (all those oppressed people) will be given his good deeds (so that the wrongs done to them may be compensated). But if his good deeds run out before the rights of others are fulfilled, then their sins will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be thrown into Hell."
