Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Junadah bin Abi Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that (once) the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) began saying to each other that the series of migration (Hijrah) has ended, and there appeared to be a difference of opinion among them regarding this. I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Some people say that migration has ceased. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "As long as jihad remains, the series of migration cannot end."
