Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In times of tribulation, the best person will be the one who holds the reins of his horse, pursuing the enemies of Allah, frightening them and they frightening him; or the man who withdraws to a remote place and fulfills the rights of Allah Almighty that are due upon him."
