Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I started my journey from Syria to Madinah on a Friday. I came to Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). He asked: When did you put your feet into your leather socks? I said: On Friday. He asked: Have you taken them off as well? I said: No. He said: You have acted in accordance with the Sunnah.
