Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you intend to go for jihad, then keep such a horse whose color is black, with a white mark on the forehead and white on the legs at the place of fetlock, and there should not be a white ring on one or both of its legs. (If you have such a horse) you will attain war booty and remain safe."
