Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out in the year of the conquest of Makkah. The companions gathered around him on foot, stood in rows, and said, "We seek the supplications of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." They said: "The journey has become difficult and the distance is long (what should we do?)" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek help by walking briskly; in this way, the journey will be completed quickly and you will feel lighter." We did so, we felt lighter, and that which we were feeling disappeared.
