Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Khalid bin Ma'dan says that Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: I ask you by Allah, do you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wearing the skins of predatory animals and riding upon them? He said: Yes.
