Hadith 1983
- " نهى عن المفدم ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (wearing) bright red (and intensely glowing red) clothing.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear a red cloak on the day of Eid.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), upon seeing him wearing two dyed garments, said: "These are the clothes of the disbelievers, so do not wear them."
- " ثلاثة لا تقربهم الملائكة: الجنب والسكران والمتضمخ بالخلوق ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels do not come near three persons: one who is in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), one who is intoxicated, and one who is drenched in khaluq perfume."
