Abdullah bin Shaqiq says: A companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was a governor in Egypt, his hair was disheveled, in fact very disheveled. Another companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to him and said: What is the reason that your hair is so disheveled, even though you are a leader? He replied: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from «اِرْفَاه». We asked: What is meant by «اِرْفَاه»? He said: Combing the hair daily.
