Prohibition of predatory animals
Hadith 1914
- " كل ذي ناب من السباع فأكله حرام ".
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The flesh of every predatory animal with fangs is forbidden."
Hadith 1915
- " لا تأكل الحمار الأهلي ولا كل ذي ناب من السباع ".
Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me what is lawful for me and what is unlawful? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not eat the meat of domestic donkeys and every predatory animal with fangs.”
