Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me and asked: “Do you have anything (to eat)?” I said: “Nothing at all, except for some dry pieces (of bread) and vinegar.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A house that has vinegar cannot be considered devoid of curry (relish).”
