الاضاحي والزبائح والاطعمة والاشربة والعقيقة والرفق بالحيوانBook of Sacrifice, Slaughter, Food, Drink, Aqiqah, and Kindness to Animals
Using gold and silver utensils is forbidden
Hadith 1868
- (إنّ الذِي يشربُ في إناءِ الفضّةِ [والذهبِ] إنما يُجرجرُ في بطنهِ نارَ جهنّم؛ إلا أن يتوبَ) .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, whoever drinks from silver and gold vessels is filling his stomach with the fire of Hell, unless he repents."
Hadith 1869
- (نهى عن الأكل والشرب في آنية الذهب والفضّة) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating and drinking from gold and silver vessels.
