Miraculous blessing in the Prophet’s dates
Hadith 1864
- (أَعطاني - صلى الله عليه وسلم - شَيئاً من تمر، فجعلتُه في مِكْتَلِ لنا، فعلّقناه في سَقْفِ البيتِ، فلمْ نَزَل نأكلُ منه؛ حتَّى كانَ آخرُهُ أصابَهُ أهلُ الشام حيثُ أغارُوا على المدينةِ) .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave me some dates, I put them in a basket and hung it from the roof of the house, and we kept eating from it (for a long time). When the people of Syria attacked Madinah, it (the basket) fell into their hands.
