Encouragement to feed and speak kindly
Hadith 1862
- " أطعموا الطعام، وأطيبوا الكلام ".
Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Feed (the people) and speak good words."
Hadith 1863
- " أطعموا الطعام، وأفشوا السلام، تورثوا الجنان ".
Muhammad bin Ziyad says: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) used to pass by us and say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Feed (the people) and spread the greeting of peace, you will become heirs of the Gardens (Paradise).”
