Hadith 1857
- " إذا رميت الصيد فأدركته بعد ثلاث ليال وسهمك فيه فكله ما لم ينتن ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You shoot at game with an arrow or something similar, but it (the game) disappears (from sight) and you find it after three days, and your arrow is still in it. As long as it has not become foul-smelling (and putrid), you may use it for eating."

Hadith 1858
- " كل ما ردت عليك قوسك ".
The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat (the animal) which your bow brings back to you (i.e., the animal which your bow has hunted)." This hadith has been narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, Sayyiduna Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani, Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir, and Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with them).
