Accepting invitations
Hadith 1854
- " إذا دعا أحدكم أخاه لطعام فليجب فإن شاء طعم وإن شاء ترك ".
Ibn Jurayj says: Abu al-Zubayr informed me that Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When one of you is invited by his brother, let him accept it; then if he wishes, let him eat, and if he wishes, let him not eat."
